About / Aaron Chapman
Always curious.
Always creating.

Director. Editor. Executive producer.
The person
behind the frame.
I’m Aaron Chapman, an award-winning director, editor, and executive producer based in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
I tell human stories across documentary, advertising, and branded content. Whether I’m following an athlete chasing a defining moment or helping a brand find its voice, the work starts with people.
Before filmmaking, I played Division I football at the University of Washington. That experience still shapes how I work: with discipline, instinct, and a belief in what people can become.
Built on a belief in good stories.
I’m the founder of Neuvant Studios, my creative and production company. It’s one of the ways I bring ambitious ideas to life with a team of collaborators. My work includes Mr. 50, following Aaron Gordon’s journey to the 2020 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, and Brady United’s War Stories, co-directed with Greg Hardes.
My work also spans brand strategy, visual identity, and marketing. Through projects like Unpin, Just Binge, and Adversity, I shape how an idea looks, speaks, and connects with people.
